diskant The Dorf is is a real discovery on Bandcamp! There are compositions of antagonistic musical sounds, with characteristic elements of jazz, but also with traits of either punk or trance (e.g. 'Well'), constituting a union of both accord and "structured conflict". It's music that is directly conveying sentiments.

"Structured anarchy" would be considered a contradiction, but that's what I feel. So I would call this music a performative contradiction, a musical retorsion.

about

This album is the first of a set of two, the second being the CD "eviL", also available on our bandcamp site.
These 2 tracks were recorded live in May 2014 with the great Caspar Brötzmann and FM Einheit. They are released on vinyl EP here - 4 further different tracks from the same tour are available on the above-mentioned CD. "Massaker" is a composition by Mr. Brötzmann and features his guitar on full throttle. "5 3/4" is a reworking of the 3rd and 4th movements of Beethoven's fifth symphony, which features the orchestra's ability to produce "panorama drones".
